Thank you to all these lovely bloggers for sharing your lives with us in a lovely way! (side note: I tried to pick blogs that I didn’t see the award on their blog. So if this is not your first award, yay you!) Now, to my fifteen lovelies, it’s your turn! Also, remember to post the award on your blog for all to see!!

Next up, Made It Monday #2!!

This week I upcycled a clipboard! My inspiration comes from Sarah at Create Studio.
I started with a $3 clear clipboard from Wally World.
Then I also got some CUTE scrapbook paper!! The collection I got at Walmart was called Joplin.
Here are the steps:
1. I suggest tracing and cutting out what you want to paste on the clipboard. I didn’t and it wasn’t a good choice.
2. Paint a layer of Mod Podge on one side of the clipboard.
3. Put down the paper you want to use and use a straightedge to get out the bubbles. Believe me, it is WORTH IT.
4. Do the same thing on the other side of the clipboard.
5. Paint a couple layers of Mod Podge on both sides letting it dry in between.
6. OPTIONAL: My clipboard started out as a WAR ZONE. I didn’t cut out my paper, so the top of the board didn’t look so hot at first. I didn’t use a straightedge to get out the bubbles, and my board has creases in it. To try to solve some of the problems, I hotglued ribbon around the edges, which in turn made it look very cute!! I also put a different color ribbon on top.
Here’s the finished product!

I LOVE the way it turned out!! I’m making more as soon as I get more clipboards!
Did you make anything fun this week? I’d love to read about it! Go link up with Tara and show us what you made on this wonderful Monday!
And now for the preview! I am working on library labels, and getting more design-efficient, so here is my first label!

I bought the chevron Whole Brain Teaching, CAFE, and Daily 5 signs during the Memorial Day Sale from Stephanie at Third Grade Thoughts, and absolutely LOVED their design-the chevron, the swirly frame, everything! So decided to use one of her empty frames as the background to keep in the same theme, with different colors of chevron! THANK YOU Stephanie for that wonderful collection! Hopefully I will have more labels for you at next week’s Made It Monday!!
Have a wonderful week bloggy friends!!
Thanks for linking up:) I love your clipboard! I made some last year and my students went nuts over them. My originals were those ugly, old, brown ones so they needed it:)

Wow! Thanks a lot for the award. Things are kind of crazy around these parts as I finish up the year and get ready to return to the U.S. so I'm not sure I am going to have the opportunity to pass it on. But in case I don't, I really just wanted to say "Thanks!" for reading and for honoring me with the award. 🙂
Thanks so much for the award! I was reading your blog and almost fell over when I read my name. I can't wait to pass on the award and share the blog love.
