Happy May, everyone!! Time is flying by, as per usual! I have 28 days of school left, and 46 days until I’m U.S. bound for the summer! I definitely love calling Tanzania home (for now), and there is no where I’d rather be! I’m getting really excited to head back to the States in a couple months, too!
I thought I would start this new month off with a Currently post! I always have fun doing these!
I’ve been working on lesson plans and school stuff all afternoon and evening, and I’ve had the new Bethel album on repeat! Here’s a link where you can listen too, on Youtube: Bethel Music Have It All. It’s feeding my soul, and I love it.
If you follow me on Snapchat (if not, you should!!), you know that my laptop’s power cord broke this weekend. Let me tell ya, Africa is tough on technology!! But, thankfully, I had TWO offers for me to be able to borrow some friends’ cords for the time being. Thank the Lord!!
I did the math today, and it seems CRAZY that I only have 28 days left with my kinders! On one hand, I’m very excited to complete my second year teaching. On the other hand, I love my kiddos, and I love my coworkers, and the end of school means saying good-bye to everyone! I am returning to Tanzania for year 3, though! Super excited about that! 😀
My TpT store has been dormant for a while; I’ve been in a creator’s slump, or rather, just feeling like there aren’t enough hours in the day! But, the past couple weeks, I’ve been itching to be able to create! In fact, I just whipped up another resource today, that I’ll upload to my store tomorrow! Here’s a sneaky peek! 🙂
I’m doing the popular ABC Countdown to the end of the school year, and need to get that prepared, as it starts Wednesday!!
I’ve been working really hard the past five and a half weeks! I’ve been exercising 4-5x a week, and eating really healthy- veggies, protein, and a little fruit, nuts, and dairy. In five weeks, I’ve lost about 17 pounds!! Really excited and motivated to keep it up and look and feel awesome when I go back to the U.S.!
