Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I have a fun post, all about those things I cannot live without! The fun people over at Man Crates asked me to create a list of 4-5 of my must-haves, like if I would happen to be stranded on a desert island, and was able to get a crate of goodies sent to me, what would I choose?!! So, since I am going to be deserting all I know in about two weeks, I thought I would share some of what I will be bringing with me to Africa because I wouldn’t want to be without them!
These are supposed to be fun and original, not like your “BASICS”!
Sunglasses
I have really sensitive eyes, and I can barely go a day in the sun without a pair of sunnies to shield my eyes! I also love the fashion statement they make. I have about four pairs at all times “just in case”. I also go for the cheap ones because I would be DEVASTATED if I lost/broke a pair I paid more than $20 for! My favorite pair right now are these oversized cat eye shaped sunnies. They are a classic black and fit my face well! I love the oversized cat eye trend, so that would be my requested shape/size/look!
Laptop (WITH WiFi!)
I will definitely be bringing my laptop with me to Tanzania, and finding how to get wifi as soon as possible!! Wouldn’t it be amazing if there was one day international wifi?! Just free wi-fi for everyone to use?! Haha, the thoughts that go through my head. Anywho, my laptop is where I can work, relax, connect with friends on social media, and though it’d be a hard choice, I would probably choose my laptop over my iPhone.
Tinted Lip Balm
My lips are constantly getting dry and dehydrated. I love tinted lip balms because they provide moisture and a bit of color! I especially like Baby Lips by Maybelline, because of their super soft texture and they keep my lips moisturized without feeling like they are going everywhere. My favorites that I’m definitely bringing are Pink Punch and Grape Vine! They have enough pigment to give my lips some life but still provide awesome moisture.
Tea
I love tea- hot, cold, with cream and sugar, HOWEVER! It is my second favorite drink, other than water. And I don’t see how I could go very long without some tea. I’ve especially been loving chai tea lately! I love tea way more than coffee, even though coffee is still delicious.
