MUSIC

I recently discovered Lucy Hale on Spotify and I’ve been listening to her new album nonstop! Her sound is the perfect mix of country and pop, and it’s what I want to listen to all summer long! I love her voice too! Definitely check her out if you love country music, especially during the summer!

 

SCENT

I love having a certain perfume for summer! This year Bath and Body Works brought out Endless Weekend, and it’s absolutely perfect! It has Raspberry Lychee Sorbet, Magnolia, and Vanilla Sandalwood to create a fantastic summer scent!

 

SUNNIES

I have been OBSESSED with oversized cat-eye sunglasses for about a year now The love actually started about three years ago when I picked some up on a whim on my missions trip to Togo. Funny thing is, it was nighttime when we went shopping for them! My first pair were a unique red and cream color combo, and I loved them! Since then I’ve found a couple great pairs, but I’m still looking for that perfect pair! I love the shape of the cat-eye, but for my face they need to be oversized to flatter me best. So if you guys know of any great ones that aren’t overly pricey, please let me know! Sunglasses are a staple for summer, because my eyes are crazy sensitive, and we need to protect them!

WATERPROOF MASCARA
Waterproof mascara is a must-have for me all year round, but especially in the summer! I’ve tried out a whole bunch of them, and have some faves, but I recently gave the Illegal Length mascara by Maybelline a try, and I’m in LOVE. It gives my lashes awesome length and curl, and they stay intense all day! I love putting two coats on, and my lashes almost look like falsies! Definitely try it out when you get a chance, if you love lengthy lashes!

DRINK
My absolute favorite summertime drink is an Iced Passion Tea Lemonade from Starbucks! It’s so refreshing and tasty, and it’s pink! I actually made my own version at home last summer, and blogged about how I did it! Check this post out if you want to make your own too!

HANDBAG
For summer, I love an easy-going bag to carry cross-body for everyday use! This one by Forever 21 is really pretty with the gold hardware and cream color! It’s perfect for road trips, or just runaround days!

LIP GLOSS
For summer, I want a lip product that is easy, lasts long, and is a fun color. These Milani Brilliant Shine glosses are exactly that! The gel-like formula grips onto your lips and lasts a great while, while giving you a hint of color. They are no fuss, and come in all colors!
