Last night, we had a women’s event at my church that I was able to attend, and it was incredible. I just love my Pastor’s wife, Kerrie. She speaks with such conviction, and I love all of her sermons. We started off the night with a panel of three women at our church, who shared their testimonies and answered questions about their relationship and walk with Christ. Then we had worship. I am loving the song Oceans by Hillsong United. It’s pretty new, and so powerful. After worship, Kerrie spoke on living out this spiritual journey. At the end we were able to just spend some time resting in God’s presence and learning to sit and wait for Him to speak. It was just what I needed!
Other than that, this week has been full of work, SNOW (not happy), and the usual. More of this week below.
Here’s what happened on the blog this week:
I played along with Sunday Social, and talked about favorite movies, jobs, food, places I’ve lived, and more.
I shared an easy tutorial on how to get free background music for any video, vlog, etc. you need to do, via Youtube!
I talked more about my missions trip to Colombia, for Travel Tuesday. This time it was about our mission, and things we did there.
I am holding a little giveaway, as well as talked about my new sponsor option! I’d love to have you as a sponsor!
I had a Coffee Date with you all via vlog, and released all my crazy feelings about this week’s events: going to the foot doctor, a death in my family, and my awesome secret santa gift this week!
I also finally got caught up on all of my Bloglovin’ reading, and here are some posts from other people I loved reading this week:
Coast to Coast Central did a post all about the interesting and helpful uses of lemons, Being a Babe: Lemons! Lemons!
Jenny at Luckeyfrog’s Lilypad wrote about How to Make a Teacher’s Portfolio that Gets you the Job, which is JUST what I need right now! Her post was awesome!
Julie at Coco and Cocoa made some DELICIOUS-looking Pumpkin Spice Scones , I know Christmas is just around the bend, but fall doesn’t end until December 21st, so I definitely need to get these made soon! I could eat Pumpkin Spice-anything all year round!
A Beautiful Mess posted their awesome tutorial on How to Style a Bow Braid! I had never seen this kind of a braid done before, but I love bows and I love braids! It does look a little intimidating, but I may have to try it for the holidays!
Kendra at Simply {Darr}ling did a tutorial on a DIY Scrabble Ornament, which is perfect for my scrabble-loving family!
Chelsea at Sunny with a Chance of Sprinkles whipped up some Crockpot Peppermint Mocha Hot Cocoa, and OH MY, I wanted to drink some on the spot! It’s definitely in my back pocket for recipes this Christmas!
What are you most looking forward to this Thanksgiving and Christmas? What was your favorite post this week? Anything new on the horizon for you?
Have a great weekend, everyone!
