**UPDATE** AND Kim at
So now I guess would be a good time for the 7 Random Facts! Here goes!
1. I love my family. They are the best! I am the oldest of three kids- with two younger brothers. I love being the oldest, but always wanted my mom to have another girl!
L-R: Peter, me, Dad, Mom, Collin |
2. My mom is the Party Queen! I had THE BEST birthday parties and halloween costumes when I was little! For example, one birthday my grandma painted me this castle set to put around an outdoor canopy. It had a drawbridge and everything! My parents even dressed up as king and queen!
Halloween costumes included:
Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Tinkerbell
Dorothy, Scarecrow, and Toto
Butterfly of New Life, Fishers of Men boat, and Peter’s rock where Jesus built his church
3. I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was 5 years old. I was homeschooled until 5th grade and would make fake lesson plans for my “class” with old homeschool curriculum!
4. 3 of my best friends and I started a traveling journal that we would write letters to each other in and pass it around the US and the world to each other, a couple years ago. It’s still going strong today! I love when I get the journal to read up on everyone and write!
Left to Right: Ann, Emily, Alicia, me! |
5. I love my home church! I’ve been going to Glad Tidings since, well, before I was born! My parents met in youth group there, and we’ve been going ever since!!
6. I love to cook and bake!! It’s a passion of mine, and I love pursuing it!
7. I started my own business a few years ago called Dipstix! I make chocolate covered pretzel rods with fun toppings for people! I have an Etsy shop: The Allieway! I even made them for a wedding favor! They were a hit!
I’ll cover steps 5-7 tomorrow!
SHHH! I have my TPT shop up and running, but only have a few items so far! Check them out, give me feedback, and get ready for my GRAND OPENING soon! (Don’t tell the others!!)

Setting Limits in the Classroom is a great book! I have lead two book studies on it for my school. We based on school wide discipline on some of the ideas presented in the book. The book focues on how to prevent and end power struggles with children using logical consequences. I highly suggest reading it! You can find it on Amazon.
